So now my lunatic android rooting users in this guide I’m going to show you how to install new TWRP 3.0 Custom Recovery on your android device. Recently TEAMWIN team updated their TWRP 3.0 Custom Recovery for android smartphones and tablets.

I’ve already said that word “Lunatic” means Crazy Android User who update their phone by rooting everytime whenever new update comes that everyone knows that and also you guys know that TWRP custom recovery is one of the most popular custom recovery plus best custom recovery available for Android devices. Now if any newbie reading is here then you must confused with doubt that why TWRP is popular recovery system? Here is your answer because it is touch based recovery system with lots of cool features which made very user friendly whenever if you want format or clean your android device. In new TWRP 3.0 has new user interface, adopted storage support, flashing of sparse images, language translator and all bugs and fixes errors are solved.

Before we start, let me remind you – this custom recovery will work almost android devices Oneplus, Samsung, Sony, HTC, Google, Motorola, LG, Oppo, ZTE models. Follow this guide correctly and only on mentioned models otherwise whatever happens to your phone, is your responsibility. How To Install TWRP 3.0 Custom Recovery

Step 1. Firstly you will need install the ADB and Fastboot drivers on your windows from here. Once installation completed you will see fastboot/adb folder in your C drive (C:\adb).

Step 2. After that visit this offical TWRP page and download the TWRP image on your windows computer. And then rename the downloaded file to only TWRP.img to avoid any confusion.

Step 3. Then, copy that downloaded TWRP Recovery TWRP.img file in your ADB and Fastboot folder. The same folder which one you created in Step 1.

Step 4. Next, Connect your Android device to PC and open a command window in your fastboot/adb folder (C:\adb). To do this Hold Shift button on your keyboard and right-click on the empty space of the folder. See the screenshot:-


Step 5. Now push the following commands one by one.

adb devices

This will verify your device’s connection to your PC.

adb reboot bootloader

This will reboot your device into fastboot mode.

fastboot devices

This will verify your device’s connection in fastboot mode.

fastboot flash recovery TWRP.img

This will flash the recovery. And the TWRP is successfully installed.

fastboot reboot

To reboot your phone.
