Summary:

I know reviewing after using up to 2-3 years is weird. But I’m writing this article because it is an amazing device I ever had and it is still available in the market so you can buy it. About this device – Samsung has launched this device back in September 2013, means in 2 months it will become 3 years in coming September. Samsung also launched Galaxy Note 4 & Note 5 but this device is way better than Note 4 & 5. Because I’m writing this article after examine all these three smartphones. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 specification everyone knows but if you don’t know about this device then don’t worry you will get all information here about Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Review After using 2 Years

Samsung Galaxy line up is the successor because invariably they launch flagship devices. Well, in Galaxy Note 3 there’s the usual bevy of specs improvements (a huge 5.7-inch display, quad-core Snapdragon 800 & 3GB of RAM), Android 4.3 Jellybean upgradable to Lollipop, and some new S Pen features & the small matter of the Gear, that optional, polarizing companion watch.

Before we get into the major aspects of the phone in a little detail, let’s look at the key features of the device. Here they are –

If we look at the key specs mentioned above, we see that the phone looks like an ordinary mid-range device without nothing to boast. To reaffirm this claim, let’s get a bit more into detail about the device.

» Performance

The device is powered by a 3.2GHz Quad Octa Core processor – 1.9GHz Quad + 1.3GHz Quad Core processor in combination with 3GB RAM. Now how it works after 2-3 years? It is still works same as I bought 2-3 year earlier, it has the octa-core processor with updated lollipop OS, means the Samsung developers had fixed some issues and now there is no issue of any lag & anyway till now I did not face any issue. Only one issue I got after 1 years, I’m a gamer so it gets a little bit warm after playing heavy games for a long time. Other times, its multitasking features air gesture, air view, etc all working great! And Yes! The speakers quality also good clear & clean sounds.

» Display

As I said earlier that I’ve used this device 2 years so we’re going to start with display first. Galaxy Note 3 has been warped all around the device by a silver metal band that only will separate after 1 & half year.  If you earlier used Galaxy note or Note 2 then you will notice here in note 3 new look means more rectangular and stylish than earlier variants. More you can see there is LED flash and 2 Megapixels Front Camera. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with a 5.7 inches 1920×1080 AMOLED HD resolution display. Put this together &  you get a near retina pixel density of around 386 ppi. It is bigger than average phone and the viewing angle is great with the gorilla glass protection on top of the screen is the reflector when it is under the sunlight and the visibility is very good. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has very sharp screen after 2 years still I don’t have any issues with the screen it means display panel is very good on Note 3. I’ll post pictures of Display after 2 years how it looks, then you will get some idea if you want to purchase it because this variant is still in the market you can purchase it. Display size is improved, the phone is large but it is comfortable to hold in one hand.

» RAM and Memory

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 boots up with Android 4.3 out of box, don’t worry you will get OTA update of Android 5.0 Lollipop for device. The memory also packed up is pretty default as well. You will get 32 GB of Internal memory along with memory card expansion capability up to 64 GB. In 2013, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was the first 3GB RAM device. 3 GB of RAM plus 32 GB internal is freaking great you can store tons of apps. In my Galaxy Note 3, you will find only tons of heavy games and apps. I’d also stored some songs & videos but still there is 9GB of memory free in my device now. One more thing you can do with this device that multi-tasking, using 3GB you can easily do multitasking without lagging.

» Camera

I’ve already talked about the camera the rear camera is 13 megapixels camera with LED flash and front 2 MP camera, now there are so many devices with 13 MP rear camera in the market but this device is still better than that devices because there are so many new advanced features Beauty face, Best Photo, Best Face, Virtual Tour, Sports, Surround shot, Panorama, Auto-Focus, Erase, Rich tone(HDR), Golf, Animated Photo, Drama, and Sound & shot which normal devices does not come with. And Yes! you can shoot 1080p video from the rear camera. Overall, I would say the camera package is definitely good because obviously after 2-3 years, camera working great. I will post here some pics of 2016.

» Battery

Here we again, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the first smartphone which comes with 3.0 USB charging and data transferring port. The 3.0 port means it is fast chargeable device and fast data transferring. The device has 3200mAh removable battery with 20 hours talk time and 490 hours standby time. The battery is huge so you can play games or listen to music/songs for a long time.

This was my review on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 After using it for 2-3 Years. I’ve already said why I wrote this article but there is one more reason that this smartphone is affordable and it is worth it. In India, this device is available on amazon for 29K INR (White) & 33K INR (Black). So if you want to buy it then please use our links it does help our site for more updates.
